Are AI Detectors Truly Reliable?
I just went through the JustDone blog post ranking the 'Best AI Detectors.' They have a huge list, but I’m still confused. Is there actually a tool that never gives a false positive? I hate the idea of accusing a student who just happens to write very formally.

I read the JustDone blog post ranking the “Best AI Detectors,” and while it’s helpful to see a big comparison — especially the section tested top AI detectors— I still wonder if any tool truly avoids false positives. From what I’ve learned, no detector is perfect: even ones with high accuracy can flag human writing as “AI-like,” especially if the style is formal or consistent. That’s why many educators treat these scores as indicators rather than definite proof. It feels more fair to use them alongside human judgment rather than relying on them alone.
