Gosport Borough – W D D W L

The Martyrs will be hoping to maintain their 100% record at home so far this season, ahead of three home games in 7 days.

A key player for Gosport this afternoon will be Alfie Stanley. The 23-year-old forward started his career coming through the academy at Portsmouth, and making a few first team appearances in the 2020/21 season before joining Dorchester Town. Alfie played 72 games for Dorchester Town in the Southern League, scoring 22 goals, before joining AFC Totton last season. Alfie joined today’s opponents from AFC Totton ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Previous Result

Last season, Gosport were on the right side of the result at both home and away games against the Martyrs, with fixture down on the south coast ending 2-1 to the Boro, after Tom Handley had given the Martyrs a first half lead.

Mascots & Flag Bearers

We welcome the children from Nantyglo U8’s who are our matchday mascots for Saturday’s game and will be leading the Martyrs out at Penydarren Park ahead of the game. Also joining them on the field, will be our Flag Bearers from Wattsville U8’s, who will be waving the black and white flags high, as the players enter the field. We hope they have a great day at Penydarren Park.
