'At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.'

At the eleventh hour of the eleventh month (Saturday 11th November), a memorial service will be held in front of the grandstand (at 11am) as a mark of respect for the fallen heroes of both World Wars.

Led by our Club Chaplain, David Powell, who will take the service when the names of our former players who lost their lives fighting for our freedom will be read out.

All members of the local community are invited and are welcome to attend.

Prior to kick off against AFC Totton at 3pm, both captains will lay a wreath in the centre circle, before a minute's silence will be observed and then Nicholas Brill will play the Last Post.

This will be an ideal opportunity for everyone to show their respects on a day of remembrance.
