After the extremely successful ‘Turn Up and Play’ day held in the Easter holidays which was attended by over 100 very enthusiastic young girls, Merthyr Town Community Foundation are providing a second ‘Turn Up and Play’ day in the Whitsun schools holidays that will once again be run by Annalise Britton a ‘B’ license coach and Mandy Gornicki, a former ladies full Welsh international.

As part of Merthyr Town FC’s commitment to make a contribution to the strategy the ‘Turn Up and Play’ event will be free, although players will need to bring a packed lunch with them.

“The day is designed to give girls the opportunity to develop their skills and their confidence in a fun and sociable environment, with an opportunity to make new friends” said Mandy Gornicki.

The event takes place between 10:30am and 2:30pm.
