Swindon Supermarine – One To Watch

On loan striker David Sims-Burgess with seven goals in the last seven games has made a major contribution to their recent form since joining from Taunton Town in November. It’s no coincidence that significant improvements in their results commenced with the arrival of Head Coach, Stuart Fleetwood, in September and their last away result was an impressive 2-1 defeat of Gosport Borough. When Fleetwood arrived from Gloucester City they only had one point from nine games on the board, they have since picked up 16 points in the last 11 games.

Form Guide

Merthyr Town – W W L W W

Swindon Supermarine – W W L W W

The Martyrs are currently sitting 4th in the League table, four points off top spot. Whereas, Supermarine climbed out of the relegation zone for the first time this season on the weekend after beating Bracknell Town 3-1.

Previous Result

The last match between the two sides finished in a 3-0 away victory for the Martyrs on August Bank Holiday Monday, thanks to goals from Tom Handley, Ricardo Rees and Olly Mehew.
