Following a last-gasp defeat against Chester FC, the Martyrs host 13th-place Spennymoor Town. Spennymoor currently find themselves in a bad run of form, and their last game before travelling to Penydarren Park saw the 'Moors' lose 2-0 away from home against Southport FC.

Interim Manager | Tommy Miller

Tommy Miller is currently the interim manager of Spennymoor Town following the departure of Graeme Lee in late February. Miller is a former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. His senior playing career began at Hartlepool Town in 1997, where he made 136 appearances and scored 34 goals from midfield. His impressive spell at Hartlepool attracted the interest of numerous clubs, but in 2001 Miller made the move to Ipswich, where he stayed until 2005. Tommy Miller featured for Ipswich on 117 occasions before transferring to Sunderland in 2005. Miller stayed at Sunderland for 2 years, despite his time there featuring a short loan spell at Preston North End. In 2007, he returned to Ipswich, going on to make a further 69 appearances for the club. Miller departed Ipswich in 2009 with a wealth of senior football experience, and the final 6 years of his playing career saw the midfielder make multiple moves, which included transfers to Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield Town, Swindon Town, Bury, Hartlepool United and Halifax Town. Following the conclusion of his playing career, Miller began his coaching career as caretaker manager of Spennymoor Town before being announced as the permanent manager in early 2021. Despite only spending 7 months at the helm, Miller was sacked in December 2021. After a break from coaching, Miller was announced as the new assistant manager of South Shields in May 2023, shortly after their promotion into the National League North. In December 2023, Miller, along with manager Julio Arca, was dismissed despite sitting in 8th place. Miller's next role in management came when he began working in Hartlepool United's academy as the U-16s head coach. Shortly after he arrived at the academy, Miller returned to Spennymoor Town as he was announced interim Manager in February 2026.

The following game for the 'Moors' saw them face defeat again as they lost 1-0 away from home to Kidderminster Harriers. Their poor run of form continued into November, in a month that saw Spennymoor pick up just 1 win while drawing 2 and losing 2. December proved to be another tricky month for Spennymoor as they only managed to win just 1 game while they drew 3 times alongside a shocking 6-0 defeat against promotion chasers South Shields. The poor run of form for Spennymoor continued into the new year as they lost 4 of their first 5 games in 2026. However, the 'Moors' managed to pick up their performance levels in mid-February as they defeated Peterborough Sports, Leamington and Chorley in a run of 4 games.
