Joint managers, Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley have had a successful time working together, boasting experienceof over 600 games. Their careers of management started at Ramsbottom United where they achieved back-to-back promotions during their 6-year spell at the club which saw the duo take the club to their highest ever finishing position in the Northern Premier League.
The success at Ramsbottom saw the duo earn a move to Salford City where they skyrocketed through the non-league system, earning 3 consecutive promotions to take the club to the National League. Alongside exceptional league performances, the duo guided Salford on an incredible FA Cup run in the 2015/16 season which saw them participate in the second-round proper.

In 2021 Antony Johnson and Bernard Morley left Chester and a month later joined Spennymoor Town for a year.
With the duo claiming lots of success and experience they arrived at the Neuven Stadium in 2023 hoping to take 'The Boro' as far up the English football pyramid as possible.
