Merthyr Town Football Club can confirm Lewis Powell has joined Melksham Town on a short-term deal.

The striker will join Mark Collier's side for their 2023/24 Southern League Division 1 South campaign.

Speaking after the deal was finalised, Paul Michael said: “Lewis has had no pre-season, he’s done one full training session with the team in nine weeks, he feels, and I agree, the best way for him to get up to full speed and feeling sharp is to go out and play games for a period of time to get up and running”.
