Arriving at Penydarren Park

The gates at PP will be open from 12:30. Supporters are encouraged to arrive well in advance of the 15:00 kick off, to avoid any queuing at the turnstiles, with a bumper crowd expected at Penydarren Park!

We continue to welcome season ticket holders from Cardiff City, Swansea City, Wrexham and Newport County to Penydarren Park, and on production of your 2025/26 EFL Club season ticket, you will get reduced entry!

Please note, card payment is now accepted on Lyn Jones Grandstand Turnstile, as well as cash payments.

Car Parking

There will only be car parking in Penydarren Park for those supporters with reserved parking spaces for the 2025/26 season, as well as a limited number of disabled parking spaces.

Car parking is available in the Castle Street Multi-Story Car Park or College Car Park just a short 5-minute walk from the ground. We ask any visitors to the ground to please park respectfully in the local area around Penydarren Park and to respect the residents.

Bar & Food Facilities

Both Romans and Webleys bars will be open from 12:30 on Saturday.

Our new FOOD KABIN will be open serving hot food, refreshments and alcoholic drinks during the game also, and Holveys Café will also be open from 14:00 serving Hot Food and Refreshments.

Club Shop

Pay a visit to the Merthyr Town Club Shop and purchase our replica kits, leisurewear, and accessories. The store will be opening its doors from 14:00, giving Martyr's fans plenty of time to visit before entering PP!

50/50 Tickets & Matchday Programmes

Our usual 50/50 tickets will be available to purchase around the ground at just £1. The draw will be made at half-time, with the winner being announced by our matchday announcer.

Our Matchday Programmes will be on sale around the ground also, so be sure to grab one for just £2.50!

The Opposition

We face Southport in our opening game of the 2025/26 Enterprise National League North season, and The Sandgrounders will be looking to improve on their 18th placed finish last season. Former Martyr, Mo Touray is now with Southport after moving to the Northwest to originally join Salford City a few years previous.

Minutes Silence

Ahead of Kick Off we will be holdings minutes silence, as we remember the victims of the Southport attack just after a year on for that incredibly sad day. Our thoughts from all at Merthyr Town Football Club continue to be with the families and friends of the victims that day, and the wider Southport community.
