Manager | Adam Murray
First Team Coach | Mario Oliviera
Manager Adam Murray was appointed as 'The Harriers' manager in May following the conclusion of the 24/25 season. The 43-year-old is a vastly experienced football figure, having made over 500 senior career appearances spanning across multiple divisions such as the Premier League, EFL and non-league. In management and coaching he has worked at a high level since becoming the youngest Manager in England’s top four divisions by taking the Mansfield Town job in 2014. His CV prior to joining Kidderminster includes working in coaching and management roles at EFL clubs like Barnsley, Cheltenham and West Bromwich Albion among others. Alongside this he had a management job in assisting Valérien Ismaël at Turkish giants Beşiktaş. Throughout his management career Adam Murray has gained significant experience in the dugout at non-league level, too, having steered AFC Fylde to the National League North Championship in the 2023-24 season. He joined National League South side Eastbourne in January 2024 and helped steer the club away from relegation danger with a superb end-of-season run to achieve safety. Last season, he guided The Sports to the play-offs having missed out on the title by the slimmest of margins, suffering just eight defeats in the 46-game regular season. Heartache then followed as his side were narrowly defeated by Maidstone United in the semi-finals. After the playoff defeat, he departed Eastbourne Borough and was appointed manager of Kidderminster Harriers prior to the 2025/26 season.
First Team Coach Mario Oliviera also joined 'The Harriers' prior to the 25/26 season to partner Adam Murray. Oliviera has previously gained experience by coaching at EFL clubs such as Nottingham Forest and Lincoln City.
KNOW YOUR OPPONENT | SEASON SO FAR
Since defeating the Martyrs at Penydarren Park, Adam Murray's side have had a very promising season which now sees them just 5 points behind Merthyr making this midweek clash a crucial one to win for both sides in the promotion race. Their first fixture after their win in South Wales saw 'The Harriers' host Spennymoor Town which was another close fixture for the side, but they once again came out 1-0 victors after a second half goal from Ryley Reynolds. The next two fixtures for Adam Murray's side saw them travel to Alfreton Town and host Bedford Town. Kidderminster managed to claim 4 points from the possible 6 in these games after a 1-1 draw away at Alfreton before picking up a 2-1 victory against Bedford Town. However, after defeating Bedford, 'The Harriers' went on a 3-game run of poor form which saw the side lose at home against Darlington while drawing against relegation battling Southport and losing away at Marine FC. Adam Murray's side responded to this defeat at Marine by going on a 9-game unbeaten run in which they won 7 while drawing just twice. During this impressive run of form, Kidderminster defeated promotion pushing sides like league leaders South Shields as well as AFC Fylde and playoff chasing AFC Telford United. The 2 draws during this run came against Worksop Town (2-2) and Bedford Town (0-0). Despite this, their good run of form came to a swift end as they were humiliated 5-1 away at Macclesfield in their most recent fixture. The overall successful season for 'the Harriers' hasn't been restricted to just the league as the side find themselves still participating in the FA Trophy as they have beaten the likes of National League sides Halifax Town and Morecambe which has earned themselves a home tie against Wealdstone United, just 2 wins away from a trip to Wembley. The top goal scorer for 'The Harriers' so far this season is David Davis who has scored 5 goals for the club so far this season.
