Even a late withdraw that forced Paul Michael to reshuffle his team line up failed to prevent the rampant Martyrs from securing all three points, scoring five times against the Rams for the second time in just four months.

The Martyrs enjoy going to Holloways Park after their 5-3 win last season and once again turned on the style to win emphatically, with a Frazer Thomas hat-trick and another couple for Ricado Rees.

The opening goal saw Thomas cut in from the right to just outside the penalty area as he bent the ball over and around Beasant with his left foot into the top corner from 20 yards.

Joe Keeping was fouled in the penalty area allowing Ricardo Rees to score from the spot on the stroke of half time.

Thomas added a third in the 54th minute with the aid of a deflection and he then minutes later provided an assist for Rees to fire past Beasant.

Mehew was on hand to provide another assist for Thomas to complete his hat-trick, as the Martyrs ran riot in with a wonderful performance.
