Owning your own Football Club doesn't mean you have to be a multi-millionaire - quite the opposite actually. Merthyr Town FC offers you the chance to own your very own Football Club from just £25 a season.

What is Fan Ownership?

Most football clubs up and down the country are privately owned organisations with wealthy investors plugging large funding holes with their own cash. As Merthyr Town FC found out in 2009, and what many other football clubs are discovering recently, no matter how big they are this is an unsustainable business model that has unfortunately seen the liquidation of some clubs.

In 2009, liquidation become a harsh reality for Merthyr Town FC. until a local groups of fans, calling themselves Rooks125, transformed the club into a Community Benefit Society, thereby allowing fans of the club to become owners themselves. We believe that thousands of fans owning an equal share is more sustainable, not to mention appropriate, way of doing things.

Please note that Junior Martyrs aren't eligible to vote and stand for the Board of Merthyr Town Football Club.

How much does a share cost?

You can become a joint owner of Merthyr Town FC for as little as £25 per season. For the 2016/2017 Season, we have continued with our tiered membership which gives you more for your money. We've also reintroduced our Junior Martyr membership for the 2016/2017 Season for our younger fans.

Gold Ownership - £115

What do I get?

For £115 you get the following:

Official Ownership Card.
Loyalty Discount Card (A discount on items behind the bar in Romans & Webley's).
Become a Shareholder of the Society.
Personalised Brick with your name on inside the atrium.
Reserved Car Park Space on Match Days.
The right to vote and stand for the Board of Merthyr Town Football Club.

Silver Ownership - £50

What do I get?

For £50 you get the following:

Official Ownership Card.
Loyalty Discount Card (A discount on items behind the bar in Romans & Webley's).
Become a Shareholder of the Society.
Personalised Brick with your name on inside the atrium.
The right to vote and stand for the Board of Merthyr Town Football Club.

Bronze Ownership - £20

What do I get?

For £25 you get the following:

Official Ownership Card.
Loyalty Discount Card (A discount on items behind the bar in Romans & Webley's).
Become a Shareholder of the Society.
The right to vote and stand for the Board of Merthyr Town Football Club.

Question:

If I'm a Gold Owner, do I have more shares than a Bronze Owner?

Answer:

No! All owners have one share in Merthyr Town FC, regardless of how much money they put into the club.

LIFETIME OWNERSHIP (OPTION 1) - £500

What do I get?

You'll never have to renew your membership again!

For £500 you get the following:

Official Ownership Card.
Loyalty Discount Card (A discount on items behind the bar in Romans & Webley's).
Become a Lifetime Shareholder of the Society
Personalised Brick with your name on inside the atrium.
The right to vote and stand for the Board of Merthyr Town Football Club.

Your share is worth the same as any other share but it doesn’t have to be renewed annually.

LIFETIME OWNERSHIP (OPTION 2) - £1,000

What do I get?

You'll never have to renew your membership again!

For £1000 you get the following:

Official Ownership Card.
Become a Lifetime Shareholder of the Society.
Permanent Personalised Brick with your name on inside the atrium.
The right to vote and stand for the Board of Merthyr Town Football Club.

Your share is worth the same as any other share but it doesn’t have to be renewed annually.

CAR PARK SEASON PASS

For as little as £75 you can reserve your very own parking space at MET Coaches Community Stadium for all Merthyr Town FC games.

Whether it be a Pre-Season Friendly, a Southern League Premier Match or a FA Cup game, you'll be guaranteed your space at the home of Merthyr Town FC no matter what.
