The club are really looking forward to welcoming supporters back to the MetCoaches Community Stadium for the first time since March 2020, and we are currently in the process of preparing to make an announcement about season ticket information.
With the speed of the vaccine rollout helping and the phased move to Alert Level 1, optimism is high that the Black and White army will once again take their places on the terraces or sitting in the Lyn Jones Grandstand very soon.
With the First Minister’s announcement yesterday and further guidance to follow that will take into consideration the data from the official ‘Test Events’, it’s currently anticipated that both social distancing and Track & Trace requirements will potentially be in place until the end of the year. This will all have to be taken into consideration and included in our risk assessment and risk management strategy for the 2021/22 season.
It is normally around this time that we would be offering our season ticket prices and starting work on the renewals. We wish to reassure fans that preparations for that eventuality are currently taking place behind the scenes, but we can’t finalise any arrangements until the official guidance is published by the Senedd.
Without this essential information we could find ourselves having to backtrack on any arrangements, so please be patient.
Hopefully, the full guidance will be produced before the next review in two weeks time when we’ll be in a position to launch our 2021/22 campaign, the Board are sure that many of you will be anxious for more news but at this stage everyone just has to be patient.
