Martyrs face Kings Langley
13 Apr 2018, Friday

Merthyr Town face Kings Langley this Saturday in their penultimate home match.

Gavin Williams team have lost their last 2 home matches against Frome and Chesham by the off goal, 4-3 and then 3-2.

Jaye Bowen returns to the squad after being unavailable due to work commitments.  Ryan Prosser scored his 2nd goal of the season on Tuesday night and will be pushing for a starting place.

Kings Langley lie in 21st position in the league, and drew their last game at Biggleswade 1-1. They have won 3 of their 21 away games, and came from behind twice to rescue a point in the reverse fixture earlier this season.  The match is more remembered for the match when Cameron Clarke went to hospital after a serious injury. Cameron and his family were grateful for the support for Kings Langley.

Merthyr Town squad:

Ed Hewitson, Adam Davies, Harry Franklin, Scott Tancock, Matthew Harris, Kyle Patten, Jarrad Wright, Ashley Evans, Craig Reddy, Jaye Bowen, Corey Jenkins, Kerry Morgan, Ian Traylor, Owain Jones, Ryan Prosser & Lee Price.

The match kicks off at 3pm. Admisison is £10 adults, £8 for over 65s and £1 under 16s.

Voting slips for the player of the year will be available at the game. After such a turbulent season it’s going to be a tough choice.

After the match there is a Soul Night in the Red Flag Bar.
