Merthyr Town return to Southern League Premier South action this afternoon. 

Merthyr Town vs. AFC Totton. Saturday, 11 November 2023. Kick-off: 3pm

ARRIVING AT PENYDARREN PARK

The gates at PP will be open at 12.30pm – two hours and a half before kick-off against AFC Totton.

Supporters are encouraged to arrive in good time, to enter the ground as easily as possible, and arrive ahead of kick-off at 3pm. 

Limited parking only will be available at the ground tomorrow, with the car park closing early.

Please respect local residents and find a convenient parking space in the town centre car park or College car park both just a few minutes walk from the ground.

PRE-MATCH

Before kick-off on Saturday, you can purchase a range of drinks from the club’s bars. Both Romans and Webley's Bars will be open from 12:30pm. 

Holveys will be open from 2pm serving hot food, including the famous cob and chips. Please note this will be CASH ONLY.

CLUB SHOP

Pay a visit to the Merthyr Town Club Shop and purchase our new replica kits for the 2023/24 season. The store will be opening its doors from 2pm, giving Martyr's fans plenty of time to visit before entering PP! The club shop has been fully stocked ahead of the busy Christmas period with Home, Away and Third Replica shirts in adults and children sizes, Offical Team Lesiurewear and Training items. 

REMEMBRANCE DAY

The club will be holding a Pitchside memorial service from 10:45 on Saturday morning with Club Chaplain, David Powell. We are inviting supporters and members of the local community to join us for this service.Ahead of kick off then, both team captains will lay wreathes Pitchside before a playing of the last post is performed, followed by a 2 minutes silence.

EX-PLAYERS DAY

We are delighted to be holding our first ex players day of the season at the game against AFC Totton, where we welcoming our ex players from all eras back to the club for a day to catch up with old teammates, supporters and enjoy the game. So come along and catch up with some of your heroes from days before at Penydarren Park.

BUCKET COLLECETION

There will be some volunteers around the ground tomorrow afternoon from Greenfields Special School based in Pentrebach, Merthyr Tydfil. The school specialises in working with pupils with additional learning needs, autistic spectrum disorders and severe learning difficulties. The bucket collection is in aid to raise funds for the school to purchase a new minibus for the students at the school, so if you see them around the ground, we appreciate if you can support them and give generously if you can.

50/50 TICKETS

Our usual 50/50 tickets will be available to purchase around the ground on Saturday at just £1. The draw will be made at half-time, with the winner being announced by our matchday announcer.

MATCHDAY PROGRAMME

Pick up a copy of our new look matchday programme on Saturday at just £2. The programmes will be on sale around the ground prior to kick-off. You can also purchase a digital programme.

Children (U16) - £2

There are no tickets for the game with all payments ONLY on the gate. However, card payment are now accepted at both of the Lyn Jones Grandstand Turnstiles, as well as cash, please present the right money if possible.

The minimum card payment is £3.
