Ahead of The Martyrs' return to Penydarren Park tonight against Taunton Town, this handy guide will give you the lowdown on how to get the most out of your matchday experience!

Merthyr Town vs. Taunton Town. Friday, 15 September 2023. Kick-off: 7.45pm

ARRIVING AT PENYDARREN PARK

The gates at PP will be open at 5:45pm – two hours before kick-off against the Peacocks.

Supporters are encouraged to arrive in good time, to enter the ground as easily as possible, and arrive ahead of kick-off at 7.45pm. There will be a presentation to celebrate the career of Club captain and long-standing player Adam Davies, so we advise fans to get in there early. 

Limited parking at the ground will be available and the car park will probably be closed early, so please respect local residents and find a convenient parking space in the town centre car park or College car park both just a few minutes walk from the ground.

PRE-MATCH

Before kick-off on Friday, you can purchase a range of drinks from both of the club’s bar. Both Romans Bar and Webley's will be open from 5:45pm. 

A temporary bar will be situated at the top corner of the ground, outside the memorial garden area. This will be CASH ONLY. 

Holveys will be open from 7pm serving hot food, including the famous cob and chips. Please note this will be CASH ONLY.

CLUB SHOP

Pay a visit to the Merthyr Town Club Shop and purchase our new replica kits for the 2023/24 season. The store will be opening its doors from 7pm, giving Martyr's fans plenty of time to visit before entering PP!

50/50 TICKETS

Our usual 50/50 tickets will be available to purchase around the ground on Friday at just £1. The draw will be made at half-time, with the winner being announced by our matchday announcer.

MATCHDAY PROGRAMME

Pick up a copy of our new look matchday programme on Friday at just £2. The programmes will be on sale around the ground prior to kick-off. You can also purchase a digital programme.

Children (U16) - £2

There are no tickets for the game with all payments ONLY on the gate. However, card payment is now accepted on Lyn Jones Grandstand Turnstile, as well as cash, please present the right money if possible.

The minimum card payment is £3.

Season tickets are not valid for this cup fixture, it is all pay.
