Lewys Twamley is targeting a succesful spell with the Martyrs after joing the club on Friday afternoon. 

“I’m buzzing to get the deal over the line,” Twamley said. “It’s been a tough few months with no club and everything else, so I’m grateful for the opportunity. I feel like I’ve got a lot to prove so I can’t wait to get started now and show everyone what I can do.

“I feel like I’ll bring a lot of excitement to the team. I’m a player that likes to get on the ball, take players on and make things happen. I love scoring goals so hopefully I can add some goals to the team.

“I can’t wait to play in front of the fans, they were a big part of me signing for Merthyr. The support they bring home and away looks incredible and I’m excited to get the chance to play in front of them and hopefully give them something to cheer about.”
